    FS: 1970 911S Sunroof Coupe

Here is a rare, early production (#0049) 1970 2.2 911S sunroof coupe (2 year only model 70 & 71). It’s matching number engine and type 901 transmission have recently been gone through by a certified Porsche technician and been put back to 100%. All the heads are date stamped 1969, and the MFI pump runs great. The 2.2 911S is the highest compression of all the 67-73 911S cars and has a great acceleration feel lacking in the later 2.4 S models. The black paint, although in good overall condition, is not the original color of Bahia Red, but looks great with the black interior and really sets off the chrome window trim. This car also has a quite rare factory installed aluminum deck lid, Fuchs wheels recently restored by Harvey Weidman, and although not correct to the Kardex a very desirable set of factory sport seats and through the horn grill lights. A fantastic driving 2.2 S Sunroof Coupe
