    "R" style repro seats

    Hi Gang,

So who has the best reproduction "R" seats on the market?

  2. #2
Vintage Seats if they are still in business. I have a Vintage R from when PZ owned the company and recommend it.

The seats are blocking the Les Paul....

    These are really nice.

A little less seat and a little more Les please. My obsession in a previous life. The first one I ever played was a 59 sunburst now owned by the guy from Kiss and offered for a cool million. R buckets were the 4 legged variety, the pictured seats are more like 68 style. Some semi-gloss paint would help.

Yes those look like R in name only. R seats do have four legs and look different overall. At least mine does. Check out the R on Vintage's web site they look much closer to the originals.
