    Optima Battery Life

I know there will be some doubters, but I checked my maintenance records and I installed this battery into my 911T in Nov 1997. It's been a regular driver up until a few years ago. And yes I've used a Battery Tender, but 20 years in the Texas heat?

I think the older ones were very good. Also had one last many many years (around 20+) going back to 1992.

I have had my yellow top optima installed in my 72 911 since 2005.
Mainly sits in the garage until she goes to events.
No battery tender, only had to recharge 3 times since.
