    Searching for a restoration technician

I can't imagine a scenario where one of you would like to see your guy move away but I'm still casting my hook. The demand is so high for qualified applicants that I'm afraid 6 figures will be the new norm across the U.S in the not-too-distant future. If any of you know someone who may want a crack at this position please send them the ad below. Thanks.

    Cliff,

Why are you assuming any of those are customer's cars?

Still have the CC shop but it's my hobby shop now; not the best part of town for high end retail.

I'm too much like you,High standards, eliminates most honest applicants. Not many with those qualities willing to work for someone else! I do have an abundance of quality-relative parts for 64-73 Porsche 900 series cars + a couple cars too that may fit into your stable someday.....cliff
Hope you can find the right people, it's very possible, I hope

I keep hearing "If you want quality people you need to be willing to pay for them."

    Well...

I'm offering to pay an unprecedented amount of dough. Let's see what happens.

Interesting: In the last couple of years I've hired techs in my mechanical shop who confessed that it was their wife that found the ad for employment. (Telling! Don't get me going on a "Candyass" thread.)

Now you know why I have photos of a luxury home in my ad.
