John want to wish you well and hope your health issue is resolved , always look forward to your photos wether present on
Ocean dr in Carmel or far far away..
This year being one of the latter attended the Belgium GP at Spa and recovering from a bit to much walking trying to find my misplaced rental in one of the manny outlying fields surrounding the far corners of the venue.
One quick note at the top of your segment you mention the Speed Yellow RSR as a 993 when in fact it is a 1993 964 RSR 3.8. I even have a tribute on a '91 Turbo body .
I'm sure quite a few didn't think worth mentioning but it is one of my favorite editions in a long line of competition models.
Again wonderful photography as always almost like being there, thanks Bert

Sorry that I'm late to the dance here, but inspired by a certain Austrian-American gentleman (and by the Pebble Beach Automotive Forum talk by Jacky Ickx), I left Monterey after attending the Bruce McLaren movie première on the Friday to fly up to the PNW in order to negotiate the purchase of a site for my retirement fishing cabin. Apologies for cutting-off the cranium of the subject of the photo, but we were being yelled-at to get the hell out of the way...

This is indeed my favorite show of the week. When I first went to the Pebble Beach Concours nearly 50 years ago, there were entire classes for Jaguar XK120's and XK140's. No longer. I treasure each of these photographs -- they're beautiful!
