    Alu Lid Value

    IMO . . .

    . . . this is a signature Early 911 bit --- = v special

I searched for one of these in conjunction with doing a re-finish of my car, 8 years ago . . .
    http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...l=1#post472210

--- something which not many people are doing, right now . . . = small market

This kinda thing is also pretty-much invisible --- zero visual impact/satisfaction = v ditto

My estimate = $1500-$2200 --- assuming it hasn't been tweeked/patched/repaired in some way . . . tough to tell in its current state

Which brings up the presentation. Your photos show that your bit has a poor re-finish --- vs an OG take-off . . . = not fatal, but . . . adds no value

If this were my part to sell? . . .

. . . then I would strip the finish, take pics of the thing naked, then prep + prime it . . . = ready to install

And don't forget shipping costs --- not-so-much for weight as physical size

    (Shipping overseas = $? . . . + you're in Europe, too)

    HtH . . .

. . . + thank you for advertising it here!

    One More Thing . . .

    . . . I noticed that your panel was badged as a 911E at some point . . .

Curious . . . are there any numbers stamped on the center support?

If so, then this panel probably came from a Karmann-built car . . .
