    Porsche aluminum toy casting

    I'm helping a friend try and identify this piece of sculpture that looks like it was supposed to be a 356 or something in that general shape. We could only find one identifying mark. A "V" cast into the underside of the sculpture. It's definitely a casting, so I'm wondering if whoever cast it made several molds and poured a series? I couldn't find a serial number. It could just be a one-off too. Anyone seen anything like it?

    I got it at an estate sale. They had no information for me though. I have seen one other pop up on the internet. So they are out there.

    I've had 2 & still have one (...for sale) 90s era mass market decorator type item. once upon a time someone mentioned Pottery Barn as being the retailer.
