Thread: Bogus Email Message From Early911Sregistry

    Along the same lines....

I just joined your fine group today along with my newly acquired 1967 911S bought from Paul Abbott. I promptly received an email from "Moonclerk" asking me to confirm subscription and prompting me to click the "yes, subscribe me to this list".

The only problem is there is no explanation of what "this list" is. Is it for your magazine? Is it a list sent out to all the advertisers so suddenly I get lots of spam from the advertisers.

Just a little afraid to click on the request to subscribe until I have a little more information. Thanks.

    Hey Graydon,

The list its referring to is an email list. We use a service called mailchimp to send out messages to our members once in awhile. When you sign up moonclerk ( our membership platform) asks to add you to our mailing list.
