I have started getting these made. The original I have is in very rough shape but the magic of my fabricator will prevail. I believe he has attempted both a straight fabrication and also a lhd conversation.

If you would like one from the first batch let me know. He is not quick.

    Regards
    Mike

Our body shop is well equipped with good fabricators who can make from scratch or convert - we just dont have the original to copy - it less work to convert the lhd we have of course - more or less just another lump on the back from what I can see

Just saw this thread as the body man who did all my work on the ST is fabricating a correct RHD one from an excellent template that I borrowed.

We are making one for the plastic 85 litre tank but it is the same as STD one but with a semi circle plate welded on

The LHD RS extension in the one in this pic is not how the RS was originally is was much more semi circle.

We have cut away the 1/4 of the plate that does not match the LHD version and fabricated the RHD bit. It is a dip rather than a raised piece on the LHD version

I would put into production but if your nearly there Mike let me know and I won't bother as no point both of us doing it and I certainly think there is a big
market for them as most car have either lost theirs or smashed them to bits over the years.
