Does anybody have the correct size bolt for a 1966 MY ,the front ride height adjusting screw/bolt ?
I seem to have misplaced mine .

    Thank you in advance.

Should be just a hex head 10 X 1.50, length the same as the other side, about an inch and a half, usually black oxide. Ace hdw. has a good metric selection.

I think there were three versions of the torsion lever adjusting bolts. The attached photo shows all three.

One the RHS of the photo are the adjusting levers and bolts used from 1965-1967. The levers are different and the hex head bolts are shorter than the 1968 version shown on the LHS of the photo. The two hex bolts are shown side by side in the center of the photo. The 1968 version of the bolt is longer.

The top of the photo shows the version of the bolt used from 1969-1989.

This is off of a '67 It is just a regular bolt but it is rounded at the end. The plating is incorrect.

The "66 - 68" bolt (40mm long) ended in 67, not 68 The one on the far left
68 and 69 used the same 55mm bolt 2nd frm the left
70 - 73 used the "914 bolt which has a small head on it (11mmATF) 2nd from the right
74 on used a similar bolt to the "914" one but uses an 8mm allen, instead. On the far right

    Ciao
