    Numbers "matching" transmission?

According to CoA, the last 3 digits of my engine number are the same as the last 3 digits of trans. number. (245)
This seems unusual to me, or a rare co-incidence, or a CoA error.
Any other have matching engine/trans digits?
    Thx

a rare co-incidence, but send the #'s to me along with the VIN and I will check to see if it is reasonable. Or send an image of the COA.

Okay, I looked into this. These are the 67 911S engine and transmission. Both were new series: 96xxxx and 103xxx. These were only used together so by odd coincidence one can get matching last three digits; yours is not the only matching set, but they are not common.

Thank you for looking into this. That I'm not the unique case is comforting insofar as the CoA being accurate. Thanks again.
