    Do you own '66 911 chassis #304946

In unpacking boxes of parts and literature from a recent buyout, I came across the owner's folder for a '66 911 with chassis number 304946. It's a trove of information for the car, including the driver's manual, original Service Book with stamps and tickets, original title to the car issued by Porsche (!!!) for cars picked up at the factory (super rare). Other neat things include international insurance documents for touring Europe, temporary reg paperwork for Italy, and more, all of it specific to this car with the chassis number listed on the paperwork.

If you own this car and can prove it, all of this stuff belongs with your car. Just let me know and it's yours.

    -- Matt

EDIT: Before some clown accuses me of something, I'll spell it out -- the folder and contents are FREE to the owner of the car, including mailing fees.

Here are some photos just because I think this type of thing is so cool. Check out the factory issued title and the official Porsche title envelope that's still intact. I love it!

I dont know of any other car having (again) all this papers.

I once reunited papers for a 68S including manual, sales bill etc, but the rare stuff are actually the custom papers, insurance, shipping and various other factory receipts, together with everything else for a 66.

We've only had one other, a 69E, original owner, parked in 72. It was a very very cool car!

    Public info appears to align...

Thought this was an interesting potential correlation from the web address I posted...

    AH-HA MOMENT

Before Michael got in to racing he had an accident in his Porsche that sent him to the hospital. It was during that stay he decided to start racing and keep his need for speed on the track. Then after winning a six hour endurance race in 1972 and 1973, at Mid Ohio, Michael was hooked.

    Possibly the same car?
