    Kudos for a generous offer.

Will pay back in SPADES if lottery ticket is redeemed.

It's a trove of information for the car, including the driver's manual, original Service Book with stamps and tickets, original title to the car issued by Porsche (!!!) for cars picked up at the factory (super rare). Other neat things include international insurance documents for touring Europe, temporary reg paperwork for Italy, and more, all of it specific to this car with the chassis number listed on the paperwork.

If you own this car and can prove it, all of this stuff belongs with your car. Just let me know and it's yours.

EDIT: Before some clown accuses me of something, I'll spell it out -- the folder and contents are FREE to the owner of the car, including mailing fees.
    Matt,

Very cool ! Little doubt that if we had the Kardex is would have the writing shown below at the top of the Kardex! Is there any mention of, say, "deLuxe" on the paperwork. I read through what you posted and didn't see anything Is there a BOS? For more info, see this thread:

I spoke with Michael this morning and he remembers the car well. He picked up the green '67 911 at the factory and toured in it for a time, then shipped it back to the States. It was his father's car at the time, but all of the paperwork is in Michael's name because he picked it up and took possession. The above kardex shows that the car was ordered by his father. It was great talking to him and confirming all of this. The bad news was he traded the car to Heinz Bade 2 years later for a '67 911S. With Heinz' recent passing, we can't find out who ended up with this car. I'm going to stick the packet on a shelf in the hopes that someday someone who has the car will search the chassis number and find this thread. Then we can reunite this amazing stack of documents with the car. Of course, all of these hopes hinge on the car being out there somewhere rather than in a landfill or turned into soup cans. For historic purposes, I'm going to scan all of the paperwork in, front and back, and post it on the Registry. It's amazing to see an original Porsche title still in the envelope, along with all of the very early import paperwork. - Matt
