    For those that do not know about his book DRIVING IN COMPETITION, it helped me.
    Read it cover to cover as a in my 20's...

    The only problem was that Alan used a model of a 914 in the photos for the overhead racing line and apex illustrations...
    At first look it was very confusing to me to know which way the car was going....

    .... I just tried to find it, and I probably passed it on and never got it back.....
