FS: Four 6/72 Date Code Fuchs 7x15 Wheels

These are original Fuchs 6/72 date code 7x15 wheels. They were apparently bought in 1972, along with a 6/72 380mm steering wheel, to accessorize my 1971 911T. They are in excellent condition, but unfortunately were given the '80's "black spoke" treatment at some point. Still very original and very nice condition except for that, and have been in boxed storage for most of the past 20 years.

$3,500 obo, buyer pays shipping from Atlanta 30306.

Representative pictures of one wheel - similar pictures of all on request.

    Best Regards,

    Bob

Sorry Francois, I don't know. When I bought the 1971 T 25 years ago in 1992, it was not from the original owner who made these changes, and I have not tried to remove the paint.

    Date Code 6/72 7x15 Fuchs

No, they have a different offset than th 7R - I forget the spec but they mount slightly wider. They were originally designed for the rear of the '73 Carrera that had the initial rear flares.

My set was purchased by the original owner of my 1971 T in 1972, together with a date code 6/72 380mm steering wheel, apparently to add some sportiness to his T.

They fit fine in the front, but are a little tight in the rear on narrow body 911s with no rear flares.

    Best,

    Bob
