    Whats this wire for? 1972 911T

    Looking under the front right fender and I see this wire not connected. Its not for the spot lights. Any ideas? Two wires, one is brown and the other looks black with yellow/green. Female connectors

    I believe it is for the right side horn unless both horns are on the left side on a 72. Colors match horn wiring.

    Thanks. Yes, both horns are on the left side. Maybe one was moved?

    My 73 S had both horns on the LEFT side and my 70 S has one on each side...just not clear when they made the change. I am looking right now at wiring diagrams for both cars (73 and 70) and indeed the wiring pair colors are consistent only with a horn in that area...so the mystery continues!

    Its the optional extra horn.
