Engine 6620008 associated to waldegaard car found

I Purchased an early 911 T and it has engine number 6620008 .The Type is 911/83 which i believe is an RS casing.
The casting numbers on the casings are 901.101.101.5R and the other is 901.101.102.4R
I read on this forum that the engine was in the Waldegaard 9112300047 car at one time, can anyone shed some light or have any info on this motor.
I spoke to the chap that found this ST car without the motor and he believes that the motor is of no value or importance to the car.

I'd say that too if the car was mine as I spoke to you...

I thought RS 911/83 engines had 663xxxxx numbering?

For my education I would appreciate it if the RS experts chimed in here but I thought that all 911/83 casings were 7R.

No I think the 7R cases came in sometime during production run.

Where are the stars on either side of the engine number? Why are they not there?
