Sold: Caswell Copy Cad zinc plating full setup

    "Sold" pending pickup

Hope this is the right place to put this. It's totally relevant to early Porsche restoration and I've been using it to replate difficult to find new parts for my '66

Copy Cad zinc plating setup available in Southern VT

I've got a Copy Cad kit with practically new anodes, extra chemicals, and aerator, plus all the buckets, hangers, heaters, etc. that aren't included in the kit. Includes a slow cooker for keeping the degreaser heated. I have the Caswell manual as well with highlighted sections relevant to the plating process and my notes.

Also includes the yellow chromate dip setup. This is neat because it can be used on items plated with the kit _and_ you can yellow chromate new zinc plated hardware from the hardware store after degreasing.

Everything is mixed up solutions in sealed buckets, including rinses, and ready to plate, so not shipable. You'd have to pick it up.

I also have a power supply that I'd like to keep but would part with if it sweetened the deal.

For trade I could use a restorable pedal cluster. Mostly I'd like it to go to someone who will use it for upfixing their Porsche.

Happy to send photos of the setup and my results with it.

Free to a good home if it helps you keep cool old cars on the road.

I'm assuming this can't be shipped, local pickup only? Oops, sorry, I see now "it can't be shipped". Oh well.

Local pickup only. Would not be practical to ship.

Nice time to visit Vermont, see the fall colors, and pick up a plating kit though ;-)

Home, safe and sound. Didn't spill a drop because it was so carefully packaged. I 've already plated a small pair of hose clamps with good success. Nice package that I have always wanted.
    Thank you Terry!!!
