Gold 1965/66 deck lid Porsche script

Please see pics of what's for sale on the market as a gold deck lid script, to be put on 80-200K value '65-'66 911s (in Europe but saw pics of the same crappy part at Aase, too). Script from front is beautiful when lying on my desk or on a shop shelf. But disastrous by sizing. Two halves match the holes on lid separately but mismatch at joint. Stems on left half are much too short, shorter by about 3 millimeters than those on rigth half that are just okay but should be even longer for an easy installation. Why are so many aftermarket P-parts just rubbish by quality? Name: 65-66 Porsche script 7.jpg
