    Unusual leather on 73.5 911T

    Has anyone ever seen leather with this grain on a 911 dash before?

    Looks like standard vinyl dash for '72 - '73 911's. Here is what elephant hide looks like for '68 so it is not that.

    standard vinyl looks like the vinyl on kick panel and dash. This 911 was ordered with all leather interior, even door panels and back seats. This not standard vinyl.

    My car, an early '73 T (1972 build) had exactly the same grained vinyl with everything else leather confirmed per the CoA so I don't think there's much special going on with that grain.

    Here is the same dash material on a '73 RS just different grain of vinyl than what is on the dash and kick panel.
