    Porsche in sports car racing

    I am doing a retirement project re Porsche in the 'sports/customer' FIA class from 1961 to 1970 and am running into some confusing and incomplete data
    I am actually looking for numbers required to be built for their capacity class sector in those years
    The example for 1966 is the Carrera 6 which was built to race in the 2 litre sports/customer class of which 50 had to be built
    The next class up was the 5 litre GT 40s again 50 to be built
    The easy one was the 917 - 25 built for the sports class 1969 to 1971
    The prototypes of the day were essentially 2/3 offs and the GT classes were 356 Carreras and later 911s
    The hillclimb cars were one offs with a 2 litre limit

    I have been looking back through my Auto Years results pages but this data is incomplete
    I will be starting to dredge through the Sports Car Racing website but this may take quite a while
    Is there any one site,such as an FIA archive site, that can tell me how many cars had to be built for Porsche's 'sports/customer' race class during those years ?
