Oh dear lets hopefully not start up again.
JJ, Frank and Jules are correct as its impossible to tell what cc the engine is in the first 2 pictures but it IS a CIS injected engine.
Your comparitive 3 photo is of a MFI injected engine cc unknown.
Now this is where it gets really funny.
Both have RED engine cooling shrouds which denominated an S engine (when built) Green Shroud = E and Yellow= T.
That aside plenty of people painted there shrouds Red to make them ""look"" like an S
The only way to tell is via the engine # but even this can be slightly inaccurate as over the years people reconditioned their engine and most upgraded them to S or if you had a T many were upgraded to the E specs.
Then there is the Euro spec cars, The US cars and the ROW (rest of world cars)
    Get some books man

Could you take a picture of the area on the engine we discussed via PM? Thanks!

Pretty sure that's a 1978-79 911SC engine. Flexible fuel lines, so not a later SC engine. A Carrera 3.0 used the 2.7 distributor and had a 5-bladed fan. Fan is often changed but pretty sure that's the larger SC distributor.

I've seen enough of the fuzzy image of the "blank" engine number to say
That this is not going to end well. I've seen a few 'blank' cases like this.
I Need a good hi res, well focused picture of the " blank" area to make a positive ID of the crime
scene. This story is just gettin' started.

I can't quite make out any good references in your picture. Are you looking in the vicinity of the yellow circle in this photo?
