    Here's mine... previously posted somewhere on the registry... not so funky as some of the others, but definitely a cool reminder of the attitude of the guys in the factory to small details!

    GHE built the ashtrays--so i think they are in charge--they are still in the ashtray business today

    I had no idea this was an original feature to my car. Learn something new...I thought some previous owner had put it in there for some unknown reason. Mine is a photo of Belgian coins. Ironically, I found a matching real coin in the car. Thanks!

    There is a thread on this at the 356 registry site also. T-2 and later ashtrays also had the wall paper gasket
