    Schrick Camshafts

A bit of history popped into my head tonight. When working on my friend's RSR in the late 1980's, we discovered that Eckhard Schimpf had installed Schrick cams. Boy, were they high strung! Surprised myself by finding this web site...

Still in use by the Porsche racing crowd?

Dont know about the 911 crowd but my father ran them in his Dino 246 in the mid/late 80's.
Were probably one of the few reliable parts on/in the car other than him. GBH.

I believe the Garretson 100 cams were modeled from Schlick. Also Dick Elverud hollow billet race cams were of Schlick specs with his own take on the closing ramps and of multiple lobe centers. Gordon
