    Lost a good one

I'm sure many of you know, or have met, Jeff Trask. Past President of the 356 Registry, the 912 Registry and all around great guy.
Jeff passed away last evening after a long fight with pancreatic cancer. I'll miss our road trips out to Texas for the HCR. Won't be the same.
There is a Go Fund Me set up to help his family out with the monumental medical bills.

Very sad, I was just talking with him a month ago about a car he had and sounded normal and upbeat.

I'd only met Jeff by phone a few years ago as I was looking for an unrestored Convertible D... wonderful, upbeat, helpful... he told me had some bad health news a year or so ago but I thought he'd beat it. So sad.

He clearly loved what he did -- a great message to us all.

So sorry to hear this bad news. I met him at HCR, he could really sling that 912!
He was also a really nice guy and an entertaining master of ceremonies.
Condolences to his family and friends.

Wow. Knew he was ill but was holding out hope that he'd beat it. Really good and knowledgeable guy. He'll be missed.

I've met Jeff at the many Hill Country events he has come to (usually with Tony) and was always impressed that he took the time to drive out here, needless to say he sure could liven up a dinner meeting Far to young to leave us.
