Great, great guy; will definitely be missed. BUT I guarantee HE is much happier now.

    Guaranteed.

Praying for his family and friends. He left a wonderful legacy that will certainly endure.

Oh boy, I did not know he was battling that insidious disease. Condolences to his family during this very difficult time. He was far too young... So sad. Life is fleeting and you never know when our time is up. Enjoy it and the people in our lives while we can.

I had met Jeff at the Hill Country Rallye 3or 4 Times over the years. He was a true Porsche fanatic, loved his 912 and could out run most of us 911 drivers, due to his skill and car knowledge. He was a generous sponsor of our Rallye, as well as a great friend to share time with.
He will be missed by us all here in Texas. Our condolences to his family, and Godspeed Jeff.

I just got the news today. Very sad news indeed. I sent Jeff a Christmas card and told him he was in my prayers. God knows best, so I guess this is for the best but it is still sad news to me.
Early on in my 912 ownership (2010 ish) Jeff was a great help. I would call and he would take the time to answer my questions and or point me to someone who knew the answer.
I make a trip from Colorado to SoCal 3 or 4 times a year for various reasons. I stay with my brother in law who is maybe 3 miles from European Collectibles. I go buy to see Jeff every time. I was out there 3 weeks ago and no Jeff. I should have known something was up as the previous time I was out there he told me he was back on chemo. I will really miss the man.
I still remember a drive out of Cambria. For me it was THE DRIVE. The road was very tight through trees in some areas and would open up for a 1/4 or 1/2 mile in other areas. I had twice the power he had and I could real him in on the straits. As soon as it went tight it was Jeff who appeared to have twice the power. I was blown away. All I could do was sit back and marvel. Watching him showed me the true potential of the 912's handling. I had, and still have a lot to learn when it comes to driving a 912.
Jeff. God be with you. You will be sorely missed.
Maybe you can give me a private driving lesson when I see you again.
    All the best, Chris Pomares

How long did he last? I have very personal reason to ask.

A true gentleman, who treated everyone like a close friend, even if it was the first time you’d met. A huge loss for the Porsche community! We know you’ll be watching us drive the winding roads Jeff! Heart-felt condolences to Jeff’s family.
