I've had Grundy for 6 years on both my Porsches (87 Carrera and 72 T). No problems, easy to deal with, though I have never had a claim.

I'll chime in. I've been with Leland West (they insure through American Modern Home" and have been very satisfied even though there have been no claims. Obviously, it's hard to say how good they are without a claim. Their rates were much lower than the other companies I tried. Anyone here have experience with Leland West?

Yep, been with them for 15 years, very happy. They always have a booth at Porsche Parade. My brother had a total loss in a flood here locally in 2014, had an '83 Targa agreed value and full payment within 3 days and picked up the car.

Ford and his staff are racers, collectors, and genuine enthusiasts. Unbelievable group of people that personally handle everything. We see them at vintage races and shows throughout the year and I consider them friends.

I had a sizable loss several years ago that had some controversial elements to it and they took care of us with brilliant fashion.
Good lord, because of Frank's recommendation I just went through the quote process. Heacock wanted a bunch more info and took some time with back and fourth, but they are less than half the cost of my Hagerty policy. I have been happy with Hagerty, but have not had to make a claim. Going to change and hope all will be well.

I,too, am using Leland West. Switched from Taylor a few years ago. They monitor the market and suggested that I increase the agreed value. All they wanted were a few photos of the car. Best rate I found for similar coverage. I can't yet vouch for how they may handle a claim.
