    2.7/3.0 heater hose reducer

    This is just a fresh technical FYI for those who are trying to accurately finish off their heater system.
    The steel hose reducer that couples the blower motor to the 50mm hose on the Behr A/C equipped cars is not the same 911 211 275 01 part as they currently offer. Proper original part is on the right. Incorrect one on the left. (However this one does work on the reducing connection under the A/C comp bracket.) As you can see the new version doesn't fit over the plastic duct on the blower motor unless you remove the swedged part of the reducer and add expansion slits.

    There's a cottage industry awaiting someone here; you could probably sell tens of these.
