    1969 Seat Belt Webbing

Is it possible somehow to get the original webbing for my 1969 Seat Repa non-retractable Seat Belts? I need them to my restoration.

The photo is for illustration. These are not mine.

Or what kind of webbing do you use for restoring the original belts?

All you can buy is the used belts and in same condition or worse as pictured. You need to be very lucky to find NOS or hardly used 1968-1969 and later belts. Try to clean your webbing as much as possible. You can find plenty of VW belts form the same era on the Samba, you could be lucky and find good material.

    Bets of luck, Cees

Not the same, Dave''s material is for the inertia seat belts. Fixed lap and shoulder belts are thicker and plain. I am sure Dave can comment on this.

    Kind regards,

    Cees
