Thread: Easy, meeting this saturday 1/6/2018?

    Easy, meeting this saturday 1/6/2018?

I know EASY was sold, I understand there will still be meets for a little while, wondering if this saturday is happening ?
I'd like to start the year on the right foot (getting up early for a drive to a deserted meeting spot doesn't sound as appealing) ;-)

Mod: sorry, meant for the meeting subforum so no-one can see it ;-)

and 1/6 - I went full european on the date !

Yes, I have sold the building and am in the process of shutting down EASY. The new owner of the property has committed to continuing our Coffee and Doughnutfests. I will be around for the foreseeable future hosting them. The sign is staying on the building and nothing should appear much different other than the bathroom will be much nicer and there won't be a bunch of greasy, rusty Porsche parts lying around. Yes, we will be here on Jan 6 and still selling what is left over.

    Regards

There is plenty of stuff left. Rod will be coming back for round 2 soon, though. We just got our delivery of coffee cups and tee shirts. We haven't had tee shirts for quite a while, so I expect these to go pretty quickly. We have both men's and women's in all sizes.

    Regards

Most definitely will buy shirts ;-) I could not find a way to buy them online or I'd have done so already !

When I left CA, I missed EASY and the gatherings so much... Now that I'm back and have been enjoying them on and off for a few years, I'm really sad to see EASY closing, but I wish you a happy so-called "retirement" ;-)

The sun is going to be out and the roads are going to be squeaky clean. What more could one ask for?

    See Y'all in the morning.

I rank this as #1 for the best post so far this month 2018/1 and if I didnt live 6500 miles away I would pick up 40 odd pounds of books or what ever ,, enjoy the coffee and with my cheek full with a donut. meet this man.

Kind regards Jim from New Zealand.

The day turned out spectacular, and the cars just kept coming and coming. I was a bit too busy to take many photos but here are a couple. I'm pretty sure there will be photos taken by real photographers posted soon. We even had an artist painting the scene. Thanks to all that came by. We were blown away by the turnout

    Regards
