Bad link, but it's the Porsche Effect @ Petersen. I'm going to be there on the 1st for the opening night. Anyone else going from the forum here? I'll have my blue 1973 outside...

I'll be there too. This is a very important exhibit for all concerned. The factory sent something like eight cars to stay there all year. Along with every other collector who wanted in, it really shows how important So Cal is (and was) to the "Porsche Effect".

Our favorite cars are there a year, and I heard that Porsche donated something like $3m to the Petersen foundation, so they are getting their money's worth! The last show in the lobby was the grand coachworks vehicles like the Bugatti Type 57, which was quite a collection. Instagram photos are starting to show the load-in this week!

I will have my Gemini Blue 1973.5 parked in the lot, and will get there around 5pm for the event. Say hi!

Hopefully you'll take photos for those of us who can't get there... enjoy!

How in the world did I miss you? Ah yes, it was a madhouse. But a pretty great house...

    Excellent Exhibit.
It's nice seeing historic cars up close and personal instead only in grainy old b&w photos . . .
