It was for sale at PHX club last year too, just after it was picked up in AZ during the auction week.
    So sad...

    . . . a squadron o' Singers . . . or would that be a chorus?

    . . . anyway . . . = Porsches re-imagined

The 'swirly' car was specially configured as a light-weight

I'm still pretty deeply conflicted about these. Mr Dickenson's creations are absolutely spectacular --- their artistry and detailing and execution are faultless . . . never mind the power and authority these things manage, once on the move . . . and anyone who likes cars --- or anything mechanical . . . can't help but be drawn to them . . .

. . . and/yet --- it's that same over-the-topness that repels me. Along with their careful finishing and mechanical operation, I love the slapped-on paint in the corners and crevasses, the glopped-on under-coating, and workman-like welding that vintage OG Porsches present . . . and so seeing them taken to this kind of almost-fetishy immaculateness . .

    . . . oddly rankles

    AND there's the money

    I mean . . . . . . is this what our cars have come to?

'Cause this is NOT why I like Porsches
