Thanks all. I’ve sent an email to the COA Porsche email box. Hopefully they come back with the code. I’ll share once I receive a response.

Porche COA came back with option number 436
I have the number but no description. Will dig deeper.

I found this. I don’t know if 914/911 shared the same option codes nor do I have any experience with the site (google search).
Yes they did share codes, and while the 914 tank is nothing like a 911 tank that would not make a difference in the codes. The actual part numbers associated with the option codes were model specific.

70, 71, 72 Accessoires lists of both ROW/USA (i have them all) do not list the 100litre tank option anymore.
The 67/68/69 however does list it, a four-digit code.
I beleive by late 69 and later, it was not a option often ordered anymore...but quite possible 436 was the code for.
(On a side note, 437 was in 1970 Soft Window targa option, another option hardly used anymore.

Now that Karim has added his knowledge, and I believe on this subject he has the best information, I would accept that PCNA has correctly translated this option. If they are saying 110 liters, then I do accept that this is correct. No matter what it says for the 914/6 tank, it is an entirely different design. Also, if the 911ST could have the 110 liter tank, then it was a known option of the period.

I start to beleive it was a 110litre indeed, mounted on a otherwise stock 911E.

As Karim brought me to the tread....
Yes the option with the 110L tank existed in the year 1970.
in the " Information regarding Porsche vehicles for Sport Purposes" it is listed as an option for the
911 T / E / S
what is furtheron needed is Porsche part # 911.641.801.10:
"Vorratgeber / Sender for fuel level indicator
für / for
Kraftstoffanzeige / Kraftstoffbehälter / Fuel gauge / Fuel tank
110 L
70 911 S
unfortunately there is no further part number or option number listed in the script, but maybe s.o. else having the spare part catalogues for the 70s could look up his pages...
59 750 pre unit triton
63 650 gray silver bikinitub triumph thunderbird
