If you're looking to replace the glass in your large Durant, the glass from a Velvac 708520 mirror will fit.

It takes a light touch to remove the Velvac mirror from the housing but once you do it's pretty much plug 'n play. One note, the Velvac glass is slightly convex so it's not technically 100% correct but I can't imagine anyone would notice by looking at the car and I like the slightly wider view it provides.

    Hope this helps.

I've replaced the mirror in a Durant by getting the black retaining ring out and having the local glass place cut a new one. Just need to make sure they use the thicker mirror stock to match the original thickness.

    I vote real.

I've also had good success replacing the mirror. The black plastic ring that holds the mirror in place is a friction fit. It can be delicately pried out with a flat head screwdriver or similar device, by gradually working your way around the circumference of the ring. Replacing the ring, simply involves pressing down on he ring until it properly seats in the metal housing.

I had my new mirror cut at the local glass store. I think it cost me $5.00?

As a guide for myself I added the reference lines, perhaps this helps.
