What we won't do for choice hops. Terry, whose car was it?

BTW: Am I the only person who thinks E-Types are Butt Ugly and awkward looking?

It was a friend who was partying too much to drive. Wife thinks they are ugly also.

Especially S1 FHC is a nightmare, if you're taller than 6ft. I've had a few of these and every time getting into a 2-seater coupe requires a bit of acrobatics, whereas roadster and 2+2 are much easier. Lovely car!

Love E types. One of the only cars that I think look great both coupe and cab. They even look cool when rough. They scare me to much to ever buy one though. $$$ 1st post picture is stunning..

Not a surprise; it’s my happy place.

Color me boring but I guess I’m just attracted to car-monogamous (carnomagous?) styling that has weathered 5 decades of veiled consistency.

I am with you to a point. I don't think they are butt-ugly, but I really prefer the looks of the XK-120 Roadster to the XKE.

First car I ever wrecked was a '64 3.8 XKE OTS that belonged to a friends' older brother (he being away at college). About 5:30 AM, home from a weekend hunting trip, sent out to get breakfast. Fast trip to Dunkin Donuts, fast return spoiled by a buggy trailer occupying the spot I had backed out of 15 minutes earlier. 1971, $400 damage.

Flat-floor Jag roadsters are a tight fit, later ones just a little better. I prefer early coupes, and who doesn't love the look of the low-drag cars?

Had an XK140 coupe once, a more comfortable car for someone my size. Had a couple of big Healeys, too. Childhood buddy got a 2002ti; one drive ended my fetish for British cars. Love the styling, but only drive German.
