Thanks for the interest Dg567 although not 100% set on selling them and may opt to sell my Harvey widened 7R's instead......also I'm based in the UK and probably easier to sell locally.

I'll let you know if I place a for sale ad.

    Cheers,

Just thought I'd share how my wheels turned out, one set in a regular finish fitted with Pirelli Cinturato CN36....

.....I decided to go with a regular finish on this set with Biagio now refurbing the second set in a racing (RSR) finish as per my originals......and not only the finish that's new as I decided to give these a try ....

....although looking a little like truck tyres compared to the Avons I was a tad concerned if they'd fit....

....interesting to compare the worn Avons with new CN36 and CR6ZZ.....

....car now looking fab again .....

Not had a real chance to try the Pirelli's yet although looking forward to comparing them against the Avons which I love.

Have to say a huge thanks to Biagio who's work is absolutely sublime and very authentic 8)

If anyone is looking for some top end Fuchs now's the time to catch him as he currently has finished sets of every size available from......and if you need a set refurbished I couldn't recommend Biagio highly enough, top end work at a fair price......

Cheers Biagio, you are indeed a Master Jeweler :thumbleft:

These will be paired with Avons CR6ZZ's and will be going straight on the orange car, as nice as the original finish is I think the racing finish just suits the Mongrel better

....pretty cool being able to see the original ink stamps .....

....these will now be first choice on the Mongrel which I think looks better with racing finish wheels.

    Darren65,
What makes them a "racing finish" ?They simply look matt on the petals?

Yes that's pretty much it Saskia.......a racing, or RSR if you prefer, simply leaves the petals unpolished and look pretty cool imo.

The build of my modified orange car was inspired by early race cars and when Harvey W suggested Deep 6's and 7R's in a racing finish was the look to go for I had to agree .......

....I've actually no idea why the wheels were finished this way........maybe someone can educate us?

    Cheers,

185/70's on the front with 215/60's on the 7R rears.......I've found the Pirelli Cinturato CN36 a bit wider than Avon CR6ZZ but both fantastic rubber
