    1967 911S Interior Mirror

From my collection. Clearing my shelves...

Very rare, one year only 67S rear view mirror. Real deal! Not a mix match BS one. Very original and never restored. Glass is usual 50 yr old scene. Everything works. Chrome had usual pit but cleaned up excellent. Original correct screws. Get your car right.

SOLD! Thx to all who were interested.

Sorry, but is the price a spelling mistake?
A mirror in such a condition?

    Hi Anke,

Yes, not cheap but correct 100%. You can go buy a new repro that is not correct or find the correct 67S only ‘used’ in my condition ( better or worse) most likely in worse and mismatched condition. Thank you.

Yup. Kudos for taking detailed pics of it though. Needs a full resto imho, this being hard to do without messing up the only rare part, the black plastic surround.

Nobody...., But you can snap on a later plastic mirror or Benz mirror onto one of the 2 stems that were used in 67, or it appears to me that the 68 version can occasionally be found more easily and used, and it's just very slightly different from the 67 version and it can also be snapped onto the 67 stem

I think I recall it's early E class, 86-88?. Here's a thread with one on it, perhaps Franz remembers what he used. Note that the biggest issue is that anything after 1968 has a part number embossed on the backside. I would guess that there's a mirror "head" from the mid to late 60's from another manufacturer that looks right that would fit the 67 stem (just my mindless meandering thoughts...).
