67S mirror - Soooo I've done - or should I say did - a lot of research on this and it was damn near impossible to find a correct one (fine "dotted" finish , no knob) or what people around here generally deem correct.

Soooo I made one "correct" type mirror by combining several broken mirrors with the right pieces I needed. I found a Mercedes mirror with the correct back (no markings), got another that had the right day/night switch, etc. Using a heat gun I was able to pull everything apart and make one good one. Sent out the stalk for rechroming.

So Thanks and ‘noted’ to all here on my next DIY project 67S for ‘how to fake a 67S mirror’.

    Mine is real. Thank you!

I’ll be at the Lit Show with some small parts and accessories. I’ll have this mirror there.

    Bump.
