    Not one picture in this thread is a picture of an actual "factory" wiper switch.

    Those of us in the US hardly ever see rear wipers on long hood cars. Your picture looks to have a generic, aftermarket Bosch switch. Did it come from the factory like that? I'm used to seeing that switch with a smooth, chrome plated bezel that was a carry over from 356As. Those switches were used in 906s and many other Porsches in that period.

    Jim, I was going back thru pictures of my Italian 73S that I bought in 84, (regarding post #5) and that is the rear wiper switch in the car at that time. I have no reason to doubt the switch isn’t original. Gordon
