    What’s it worth - 1965 4.5” Lemmerz steel wheel

I was with a friend today looking at his 1970T and noticed the spare wheel was narrower than expected. Took it out and it has a 5/65 date stamp. 4 1/2 J x 15. I thought it would be good for someone with a 1965 car and wondered what it would be worth.

    Thanks for the info.
I thought the earlier narrower wheels were worth more than the later 5 1/2” wheels: maybe not!

I think they are Stephen, but once the chrome has gone like that it turns into a fairly expensive job to restore.

It depends, does it say 3.7 or 3.9 on it, there is a BIG difference in value.

    Hi Adam

    It’s stamped 3.9

Can you explain the difference? I’m guessing it’s the offset...

    Thanks

so what's the difference in value if it says 3.7? Trying to clean out the yard and found 3 of my wheels are 3.7's, appreciate any insight.
