    I just wonder whether Porsche sealings are so soft that they won't compromise the gaps.
    On my BMW 1600 Convertible the doors were pretty good - well only if if you had no seals.
    Once the rubber seals were mounted the doors had up to 4 mm at the lower end.

    thanks for following.The seals will zero impact on gapping dimensions.The seals do impact depending on quality and vendor, the panel transfer from bolt on panel to fixed body panel typically pushing out the weaker,ie the bolt on panel,door ,hood,engine lid etc.
    Over time these seals will settle down with naturally heat from the sun,providing they are within a 'reasonable' tolerance to begin with.If not,you will have to shave the back of the seals.
