    Agreed. It all started with a '67 Beetle for me in the early '80s. Shared it with my brother throughout high school. Continuing on with a GTI in the later 80s, a Jetta GLX in the 90s, and now introduced my kids (and wife) to a modern-day GTI for a daily driver.

    I bought a 1969 today, with the roof rack supplied - Seems to be 100% original.

    Good eye on the headrests; I never liked 'em in '68 either. Looks like Euro rear signals, too. Beautiful car.

    Just brought my ‘58 back West with my move. Nice to enjoy it all year round now. No drops, no hot rod tuning, no restoration needed.
