Beautiful, Paul. Nice engine, too. Who did your carbs?

Paul, Looks like your "tin man" did another nice job on the sheet metal to make the motor look as it should in there. Congrats !

356 engines always looks nice in any VW, the cherry on top is that Abarth exhaust. Sooooo tempted to do stuff like this to my Samba.

BTW, is that a fire suppression loop?

Thanks guys, very happy with the details on this project.

@swcarroll, This is a fully built big bore 1720cc 912 motor made to look like a 356.Carbs were likewise rebuilt when I bought the package.
@rickcabell, the "tinman" is again Russ Rodriguez of Fibersteel in Azusa CA. A great fabricator & real cool guy.

@bullethead, I am especially fond of the vintage speed look & yes the Abarth peashooter is a de rigueur item to get the full effect. Yes that is a fire suppression loop.

Appreciate all the kudos and BTW, I dont know who Paul is.

My mistake...I had you confused with Paul Abbott. You both have "quick" in your forum names.
