    Mounting plates are readily available from a number of sources. I bought mine from another earlysreg member based oug of New Zealand. The template i can send via email

    You could also mount to a roll bar cross bar. Not that I'm a fan of that, but it is an option.

    What a great inspiration and source this forum is!

    I'd been thinking to install period correct racing harnesses for quite a while but didn't know where and how to mount it. Now thanks to the information on the '68 mouting holes on the shelf I started digging and found them. Gonna get the Britax 3 Point harness straight away

    Everything installed now - 3 point Britax harness fixed to parcel shelf mounting holes. Quite tight compared to the previously installed 3 point static belts, but I'l get used to it!
