Hope he doesn't drive up the prices of any 71/72 911 T's (at least until I can buy one)..

Koum replied: "Not only did I go to luftgekuhlt, I brought [sic] two of my cars there..."

I am trying to be happy for him, but I seem to be konda green with envy

As much as I read he's (so far) only into rarer 964 and 993 models. I think for the time being you should be pretty safe hunting for your "T".

But also he is “looking for a 1989 930 Turbo w/o sunroof, in highly original condition”. He is not new to the business, first P bought in 2003.

    Well heeled collectors

“Jan Koum, CEO, cofounder, WhatsApp Inc. with a net worth of $9.1 B didn’t elaborate on his reasons for leaving Facebook other than to say it was time to “move on” so he could spend more time “collecting rare air-cooled Porsches.”

I think it's GREAT and I hope he brings all his mates along too.

May put a stop to the the poverty stricken nit pickers poking so much borax at cars that they cannot afford but believe they know every exact particular on a car that they can't afford in the 1st place.
