Allegedly he was that upset car hadn't been delivered the spec / options he ordered

Not sure if posted before..while there has often been spirited discussion on this forum about a Porsche being correct to spec and at times heated debate over the correct options that were fitted, I've never seen it get to such extremes:

They'll get Fifty grand from him now I suppose!

Hope he wasn't using a Porsche produced CoA as the point of truth reference to resolve the facts

Reminds me of the time a friend -- SVP of an Alcobev company -- asked his assistant to complete the purchase of an apartment in London for use when in town for business during the week. Here in London things are typically referred to as a one, two or three bedroom apartments. Being from continental Europe and having family home there where things are more usually referred to in square metres (I think) probably he misunderstood our quaint system. He told his assistant to complete on the two room flat in a new block, meaning buy the smaller unit with one living room and one bedroom for use as a little functional pied de terre when working in town. He was surprised to find on arrival that he was the proud owner of a larger two bedroom unit next door in same new build apartment block. With London real estate prices that extra bedroom was a much more expensive purchase. He sucked it up in good grace and with what happened to the property market he probably benefitted in long run from that communication breakdown with his assistant.
