a collection of Carrera RS 2.7/RSR 2.8 - help appreciated

true, just another (virtual) collection of Carrera RS 2.7/RSR 2.8. however, today we reached 10%, means: 158 different VIN-numbers, all with pictures. and we will go on, a never-ending-project. our collection is not a registry but we would like to get as many information as possible (and nope, it is not a business at all, just a time consuming hobby). and therefore we would appreciate your help - the more we get, the better it will be. and we are not in fear to ask questions about originality and whereabouts (as we don’t own or sell).

    see it here: http://radical-mag.com/category/2-7-rs/

best from Switzerland, Peter (and sorry, it is just in German)

Interesting initiative ...as owner of a 73 RS curious how this site and initiative will fare in the face of ever more stringent personal data protection legislation. I have received all manner of emails this month seeking my permission to continue to hold my details on sites not pertaining to cars due to imminent data protection legislation taking force.

I was at a car event where a vendor's stand had papers filled in by customers signing up to be in contact and the individual who had the stack of papers told me he had been refused permission to even move the papers from the location in his brief case to the office for input to CRM system due to concerns over loss or misuse of the personal data even though I assume people had signed up to sheets voluntarily. I kid you not! This was a large company and I assume what he explained was the considered advice of a corporate lawyer.

as we have no interest at all to provide or store or share personal details, we don't see a problem with data protection. we are swiss, we know about being: discrete.
