    Steering Wheel Recommendations

I have this MoMo LeMans wheel that the leather covering is cracked and brittle. Is there anything short of recovering (who, btw, Dallas?) that can at least be done to keep it from getting worse? I’m earmarking this for a special build so I do intend on using it. It’s kind of tough to see the severity in the pics. Any advice will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hmmm. OK. It sure looks and feels like leather but I very well could be wrong. It certainly appears to be the original covering. Has yours been recovered? I like the white stitching on yours, especially against the black interior.

White stitching should be original to the le mans. I'm guessing someone probably tried to redye yours somewhere over the years.

OK, thanks for the responses. 3 questions - 1) Vinyl only? 2) Would it originally have been white thread on the stitching? 3) any recommendations on recovering correctly?
