    Snaps (?) on rear shelf - 1967 911S

I recently got some new vinyl for the rear shelf of a '67 911S. I thought I had good pictures for putting it all back together but I've ended up with two parts that I can't place. They look like they may be part of snap. I suspect that they went into the back of the "Ornamental strip" (6), but, I'd have to peel back the brand new vinyl to be sure. Functionally they don't seem to serve a purpose. Any hints?

Yes, those snaps are for the straps that hold up the rear seats...

Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. I found the pictures I needed (of other cars at Luftgekült). I don't see the straps on the backseats that go along with these on my car.

I took off the "Ornamental strip" and, from the inside out, kept on poking around with a safety pin until I found the holes the snaps go into.
