Thread: Madras interior pics?

    Madras interior pics?

I've recently picked up a 73T that was ordered from the factory with blue Madras plaid interior, but is now black. While sample pics of the Madras fabric are available online, finding pics of a complete interior is a lot more difficult.

Do we have any forum members who have a madras interior (preferably blue), who can share some pics to show the extent of the coloured leatherette & madras fabrics? For example, are the A & B pillars coloured or standard black? Is the top of the parcel shelf black?

    Many thanks...
    Scotty

I believe this appeared on Bring A Trailer some while back. Probably not factory.

Thanks Eric - yes, the top two pics are not Madras and add zero value to this thread. They're just some random check patterns folks...

I've pored through the 'show your seats' thread, but none there either. These interiors are thin on the ground...

Yep, seen that one Chris - thanks though!. The key is getting a pic of a Madras interior, not just seats or fabric swatches.

Here are some pic's of Blue Madras material that I considered using on a set of 82SC sport seats last year. I was undecided between the Madras material and the blue/green tartan. I am pretty sure this is correct. Eric, does this look correct to you? If anyone needs material, I have a good source.

More"zero value" for SM911. You could always switch manufacturers and use a nice plaid as in my '55 M-B.

Here a period info. Note the leatherette seat color matched the chosen madras inlays.
